Marchway Orange Ultralight Folding Backpacking Camping Lawn Beach Chair Weighs 2lbs

  • Ultralight and Portable
Weighs only 2.3 pounds and can be picked up with one finger. Folds up into a carrying bag smaller than a shoebox and fits in your carry-on or daypack for easy on the go. Ideal for camper, hiker, backpacker, climber, off roader.

  • Stable and Durable
Solid square base makes the chair more stable and sturdier. The four horizontal bar and four stand-alone legs disperses the weight over multiple poles and provides more balance when sitting. Ripstop polyester fabric and robust aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame supports up to 300 lbs.

  • Super Comfortable
The ergonomic seat design allows you to recline slightly and relax while chatting with friends across from you in a comfortable position. You can wiggle in the chair without tipping over easily. The mesh of the fabric is breathable to keep you cool.

  • Simple Assembly
Shock-cord structure enables quick set up, poles basically pop into place on their own, then just slide the fabric seat onto 4 poles. Two Velcro straps help to fold up easily so you can tie the poles together on one side first and then the other side. It’s easy after a bit of practice.

  • Multi-occasion
Perfect for camping trip, tailgating, hunting, climbing, biking, kayaking, soccer tournaments, music festival, patio, park, barbecue and other outdoor events that require lightweight and minimal space. This lightweight hiking chair is also a good gift for your family and friends.

Reviewed: 12/3/2022: Sadie F – Decent chair for the price

Our family has several compact backpacking style camp chairs. This is a sturdy one that is pretty comfortable. My wife claims it feels tight on her shoulders, but the upper poles are above my shoulders, so I didn’t notice that. Our kids really liked sitting in it though. I think this is a great budget camp chair that packs down relatively small. It’s not small enough or lightweight enough to be a real backpacking chair. But for the price or for a short hike I think it’s a pretty solid choice.

Reviewed: 11/15/2022: R. Cheng – Triangle design for base was much more stable

It wobbles a bit more than the triangle base one they had previously produced. I think it’s because this has a square support base in the middle. The seat itself is surprisingly supportive and comfortable enough for an adult (5’6″ and 170lbs), even without the neck rest. My kids (around 44″ and 45lbs) tend to choose this seat for reading in.

Everything pops into place easily. It comes with long velcro straps to help hold everything together for storage. It’s a bit tricky to get all the rods in the right angles to fold it compactly for storage, but you can also just jam it into the storage bag and get it to go in.

Overall, the seat is stable and works, but the old design worked much better in being more compact when folded and wobbling a little less. So far, I’ve had these out with kids jumping into them for about a month, and nothing has torn. I think these are good for keeping in my trunk for tailgating and taking to a park/field.
