My daughter has used the chair for gaming every day and it’s holding up great, it’s a good size for older kids. The cupholder started to rip the first day, I don’t think it’s meant for something as heavy as a bottle of soda.

Not a fan of how expensive it is, but it was one of the only options I could find for a child bigger than a toddler but not ready for an adult chair. Really great in-between size. It fits my tall 4 year old really well. Super cute. The mermaid chair has a higher back which seems to be comfortable for a kid with a taller torso. Seems sturdy and durable but have not had it long enough to know for sure. Will probably check a sporting goods store for a better price next time, but my child absolutely loves this so I can’t complain too much.
Update: holds up to a preschoolers abuse really well. She uses it multiple times a week for several months and it has held up nicely.
