I got a pair of these chairs last year as a Christmas gift, used one of them almost every single day at my kayaking job this past summer and it worked every single time! I’m a heavier guy, around 230-240 and it easily supports me every time I sit in it. It’s very comfy, I wouldn’t mind if the backrest was a little bit taller but I really enjoy using these chairs! I always keep one in my car in case I need it!
