Main reason to get this stool was for my hubby to have a place to rest if walking becomes too cumbersome or if he would have to stand for long periods. He had a hip replacement about 8 months ago; while that has healed well, he is working on his stamina and sometimes a little break is needed. This stool doesn’t weigh much and has a shoulder strap so it is easy to haul. The seating area isn’t huge and with triangle footprint and seat, I’d caution to sit carefully so that you won’t fall. Once you are seated you’ll get your rest. Won’t be as comfy as your favorite chair at home but perfectly sufficient. Sitting height is also good; many chairs of this type are close to the ground so you’re essentially squatting and getting up could be a struggle. Not sure why the shoulder strap is so short but the handy person that I am, I will make it a bit longer for more convenient carrying.

I needed a VERY light weight folding chair that I could take on assignments while riding my motorcycle. I can no longer stand for long due to spinal issues. The strap that is attached to the chair fits over my head while riding my bike and it’s light enough that it doesn’t impede my comfort. I feel stable sitting on the chair; it won’t fall over.

I’m 70 and wanted this to watch the grandkids during golf tournaments. This height is good and was one of the tallest. I would not want a shorter stool.
