Absolutely love this chair! I primarily bought it for cold Ohio baseball games but will also use it for camping. It gets really hot and stays hot. It does not come with the battery pack but I got one at Walmart for $20 that powers it for 3-4 hours! My first battery pack didn’t work, but that was a defect of the battery pack, not the chair. So, if yours isn’t working check your battery pack (my battery pack said it was on but still didn’t work on the chair for whatever reason). I also love it (without the heater) for hot baseball games too. Mostly because of the reclining positions – great for relaxing or taking a rest between games. It’s sturdy, the pockets are very functional for a phone, keys, etc, and you don’t sink down into it like you do regular bag lawn chairs. Highly recommend!

The chair itself is pretty good and heats up to a good temperature quickly.
My only problem is it is hard to open every time it seems to get stuck and I pinch the palm of my hand once I push the red security latch down on the back of the chair which is very frustrating and painful not sure if the chair is defective or maybe needs to be broken in a bit to losen up.
If anyone has a resolution to my problem please share

While you do need your own portable charger this chair has multiple heat settings. I used it at a soccer game with a blanket and kept warm almost hot! I do wish the back was heated too but it did keep me warm!
