Larger than i expected but all good. Easy to open and easy to close, other chairs i’ve had sometimes its a struggle to open. With this I can easily open it one handed while still having a beer in hand, nuff said!

This chair was purchased to provide support in a setting requiring temporary/portable seating. It is large and roomy (I am 200 lbs and feel it is oversized for me.) It is comfortable but I purchased it looking for support — especially when rising from the chair. That is where the Mouthen Camp Chair is very much like every other camp chair — difficult to rise from, particularly for anyone who doesn’t find having hips lower than knees a comfortable starting point (not a good position according to my orthopedic surgeon).
I am not bothering to return it — there are younger people who will appreciate the oversize proportions who do not need the additional support in order to get out of the chair easily. However, they didn’t buy it and I’m not buying another one.
Short legged heavy people might be a perfect fit but at 5’8″ I’m not.
