Seat is too small to fit on the frame. Stool has to be disassembled to fold. Very poorly designed. Will not work in no way. I’m returning this worthless thing.

Cooking in comfort while backpacking is awesome. This allows you to do it with minimum extra weight. It is a legitimate 1lb not over (without storage pouch). I have a few chairs in the weight range, but cooking from them is not as easy for me as the stool sitting position. Not sure why, just isn’t.
The stool is very well constructed, and actually could be made lighter using UL fabric. I may sew up some DCF for the triangle at a later date to get a bit lighter.
I took it on a multi day backpacking trip to the Sawtooth mountains in Idaho. It was a great option. The swivel concept seems trivial, but it is not. This really ends up being the selling feature of this item. I was able to cook, eat swivel for beautiful views or just to find my fork.
Overall it works great, and I already suggested to a few friends. I would purchase again.
